KenBay Begins Selling Their New Clydesdale Compactor Specifically for Plastics

KenBay has recently shipped their first production version of their Clydesdale for Plastic. KenBay’s newest compactor was developed to rapidly compact plastic for recycling while reducing labor costs and increasing safety.  Combining new technology with the proven Clydesdale technology to break down the memory of plastic, the new KenBay compactor is able to produce bags of plastic having two thirds (2/3) the density of bales in one-fourth (1/4) the time, i.e., 600 lb bags in 2 hours versus 8 hours to produce a conventional size bale.  The Clydesdale Compactor saves many person hours by continuously compacting plastic in polyethylene bags that are an ideal size for shipping. And the Clydesdale has proven to be much safer to operate than a baler. No need to deal with the hazards of handling baling wire, loading the chamber with plastic then having to cycle through each loading chamber of plastic.  The Clydesdale is a continuous feed machine and has a small footprint so it can sit next to the source of the waste.

The new Plastics Clydesdale also has a newly designed drum to eliminate wrapping of long sheets of shrink-wrap. This innovation and those mentioned above makes the Plastics Compactor ideal for users inundated with shrink-wrap, plastic bags and other thin plastic sheeting.

If your operations has to recycle large volumes of plastic, call KenBay at 888-353-6229 or contact us at mail@kenbay.com to learn how the Plastics Clydesdale will increase the return on your investment by reducing labor while obtaining a significant rebate on the plastic.

What Our Customers Say…
“We had some of the night operators throwing in a lot of cardboard.  Some of the sheets were sticking up against the walls of the Clydesdale and would not compact.  KenBay provided a simple attachment that bolted on to the back of the drum that peals the cardboard off and into the mix to compact.  Problem solved.” - Reliable Paper Recycling
