U.S. sentiment may have squashed the proposal to allow the United Arab Emirates
to purchase control of American naval ports, but the port of Dubai is still
opened to U.S. business. KenBay is proud to note that the first 8 Clydesdale
compactors manufactured in the U.S. went overseas.
Of
the first batch of Clydesdales that were manufactured for KenBay by Waste
Control International headquartered in Neche, North Dakota, five were bought by
and shipped to Saifee Ship Parts & Ship Chandlers in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Saifee Ships
purchased the compactors for a client planning to use them
onboard shipping vessels. KenBay credits
an informative and easy to navigate website as well as a responsive sales force
which gave Saifee Ship the confidence to purchase these compactors
sight-unseen.
Two other Clydesdale compactors manufactured in
ND were shipped to Good Foods SA in Lima Peru in April. Good Food SA is a South
American candy producer that was eager to bring the Clydesdale to their facility
to address waste and counterfeiting issues.
