an effort to be more responsive to the needs of the North
America market, KenBay has begun assembling the Clydesdale
compactor in the US. It is still the same high quality
Clydesdale with all parts the same as before. We are getting the
power pack (all hydraulic and electronic parts) from Europe but
having the metal cabinet fabricated here. In addition to
controlling our costs on the fluctuating Euro we feel we can
also improve quality, be more responsive to special orders and
enhance the machine to fit the needs of the North American
marketplace.
KenBay
recognizes that a significant number of our customers are
recycling more and more of what would otherwise have been waste
material. We presently have a project underway to make the
Clydesdale even more effective in being used for recycling
plastic. By evaluating and testing several different approaches,
KenBay expects to have production enhancements available on
future models.
