The uses of the RotoPac compactors vary from that of destroying electronic devices to compacting contraband. They are used for compacting waste into "hazardous bags" and in locations where hazardous waste and explosive or ignitable mixtures are produced. Several are placed on population-dense floating structures that require a compactor with a small footprint that can handle high volumes with the ability to store compacted waste in a sanitary manner. By using a special drum with spikes on it, the RotoPac is being used for destroying cigarettes and packs of them that don't pass QA. The Army is using one to take advantage of the RotoPac's 6 to 1 compaction to significantly reduce the time disposing of trash having to go through security checks. If your company has materials to be compacted in high volumes the RotoPac will likely be very effective.
