Clydesdale Users By Industry - Food and Bakery

Advance Brands - To meet the growing demands of the convenience food market with their innovative cooked and prepackaged products, Advance Brands recently overhauled their plant with a $15 million upgrade.  Tim DeLarm, VP Engineering comments, “We can handle 60 million pounds of product annually and rely on KenBay’s Clydesdale to keep our trash under control. Like anyone in our business, we generate a lot of waste, but the Clydesdale makes it very manageable.”

Griffith Laboratories – As a global manufacturer of food ingredients, Griffith Laboratories provides a wide range of taste and texture components for customers throughout the food industry. They have been using the KenBay Clydesdale for over 4 years to dispose of their many 50 lbs bags so common to the baking industry.

Rich’s – Founded in 1945, Rich’s is known around the world as the founder of the non-dairy segment of the frozen food industry and a leading solutions provider to the food service, in-store bakery and retail marketplaces. To their dismay, they found their facility was being overrun with waste from their dough and bakery production lines. The Clydesdale was the ideal solution to combat the growing problem. Bakery Industry

Wegmans - Paul Nowacki, Sanitation Manager of Wegmans, took advantage of KenBay’s free trial offer and brought a Clydesdale compactor into the Wegmans central bakery plant. As a user of the KenBay Clydesdale since 1996 in their 40,000 square foot baking manufacturing facility Paterson, NJ, President Jim Sausville captures the Clydesdale’s effectiveness, “We have 30 employees in two shifts daily generating a lot of waste: paper bags and corrugated boxes, pails and drums mostly. This compactor helps us keep up with New Jersey’s notoriously strict laws regarding the recycling of paper and cardboard waste.”
